Navy Floral Wrap Dress
Although we had already taken some family maternity session photos I also knew that I wanted to take a few photos of just Ems and I alone so I could remember the days it was just the two of us! As the due date approaches (I am eager to not be pregnant anymore haha) but mostly I am becoming more emotional about the changes that are soon going to occur around here once baby brother arrives.
I ordered this navy rose floral wrap dress from Pink Blush Maternity knowing it would be the PERFECT choice for a photo session. The predominant shades of blue in the dress – the dark navy background and powder blue flowers I felt represented baby boy’s pending arrival, while the touch of pink flowers represented my girlie girl Ems. It seemed like a perfect blend of my babes for fall photo attire!
Indigo Cozy Favourites for Christmas
Indigo is my go to place for stocking stuffer and Christmas gift ideas because they have such a range of fun items. From winter essentials like mitts, toques and scarves to fun decor items for the home, I can’t get enough of their store! I typically focus my posts on the little ones in our lives but figured today I would shift my focus to us mommas as we deserve some pampering too! And after all, ’tis the season to be pampered!

I have been on a rose gold kick lately and can’t seem to get enough of it in jewelry, home decor and now accessories! These rose gold wireless headphones by Sudio Sweden are absolutely stunning! Even the packaging they come in is perfect. I got them just in time to use for our trip to NYC back in September. Headphones are a must for me when flying as they block out all the airplane noise and the other travellers around me.
